December Update

Greetings and Merry Christmas,

Luke 2:11 “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. Jesus is the reason for the season. We are so thankful for our salvation. The Lord is good all the time.

This past year we have seen the Lord work in many situations. To start off the year Dennis began seeing the doctor to have his ankle replaced. The surgery was August 9th (his 60th birthday) and was a success.

While we have been home we have had the privilege of helping work in our home church, First Baptist of Barron, WI. We take six kids to Awana and help wherever we can. It is a joy to be able to help these kids learn from God’s Word.

Our kids are doing well. Dan and Amy, along with their sons, Connor and Logan, continue farming. It is fun to see how they work well together. The crops look good but the weather is not cooperating with the harvest. Please pray that they can complete their harvest.

Rich and Rachel continue to do well at their jobs. Alexa, Zach and Sawyer are growing like crazy. As a matter of fact, Alexa, our oldest grandchild, will be going to get her drivers license soon. That really makes us feel old. We would ask you to pray for them as Rachel is looking at taking a new job working at the bus garage where Rich is the mechanic.

John and Lisa round out the list of our kids. John continues to drive school bus and do cement work during the day. Lisa started a new job as the Community Director of an assisted living home. It has been a challenge but it is going well. Their kids, Katilyn, Alyssa and Mark, are doing well. It is nice to have them living up the road from us.

Our parents are getting doing well. We are blessed to have them. They all have had their share of doctor visits. Dad Robinson will be having surgery next year. Pray for healing for him.

The building project in Fort Ashby, W.V. has entered into phase 2. They are remodeling the fellowship hall. The work has been going well. Our next project is going to be in Stephens Point, WI. We drove over to take a look at where we might be able to park the trailers. Please be in prayer for wisdom in where to park. We cannot park on site and the only RV Park that is open year round is charging $40,000 for us to go there.

The other option we have is to park on a piece of land that a member of the church has but we would need to update the power there as well as put in a well and septic system. We really need God’s wisdom with this decision.

We thank the Lord that we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary on Dec. 8th. We have been blessed to be together thru thick and thin. God has been so good to us.

We are excited to see the had of God at work in our lives as we endeavor to do the work He has called us into.

Again, we want to thank each of you who have been a part of our team. Those of you who give to meet our needs and those who stand behind us in prayer. You all are why we can do the work God has called us to do.
